I’ve stayed at New river Cabins twice now and loved it both times. The price and location are hard to beat, and Lory is so accommodating. Already looking forward to coming back.

We spent four nights in the cabin and had a really relaxing time. It was clean and well stocked, and the staff were easy to reach. Getting in was simple, and it was easy to get to lots of local attractions. Such a beautiful WV gem, with everything you need for a cozy cabin stay. We even got to see a bear lumber past! We’d spotted him earlier down the road, walking away from us, so we set up our trail cam. Sure enough, he came back through. We heard that’s rare, so it felt like a lucky gift. No TV needed with nature, and a bear, right there. We loved New River Cabins and will most definitely be back. Thanks for the wonderful memories!
We booked at short notice and had a lovely night here. Lory and her son were so kind and helpful, the property is beautiful, and the cabin was fabulous and immaculate. There were plenty of clean towels and beds, and the price was affordable. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
The cabin was clean and had a nice view, and everything we needed was there. Booking was easy, and the staff were very nice and helpful over the phone. We stayed three nights for bridge day and had an excellent experience, no complaints. Would recommend.
The cabins sit between the New River and Gauley areas, which worked great for our weekend of rafting and mountain activities. Ours was clean and simple, just right for the trip. It had a coffee maker, full size fridge and freezer, stovetop burners, a kitchen sink, and a full bathroom. Outside there was a picnic table, fire river, and a covered porch with a bench for rainy weather. I’ll be back. The Freefolk Breweries are pretty close and have good individual pizzas, or you can head into Fayetteville for Pies and Pints.
