Penn Lodge Hotel & Suites

The bed and pillows were so comfortable that getting up each morning was hard. The room itself was beautiful, extremely clean, and quiet, with great air conditioning. The rooms have all been redone, and the owners seem to be working hard to improve the business. I think they're on the right track. Some of the worse reviews are from a long time ago, maybe from when it had owners who didn't care. I did panic a little when I pulled in because the outside looked like a motel. Online, I'd only looked at the rooms, so I wasn't expecting that. Once I got inside, though, I was pleasantly surprised, and my stay was very nice. I imagine other people might have the same first reaction when they arrive.

It's clean and affordable, which is hard to find these days. I was very happy with my stay and will definitely come back.

The room was lovely and really clean. It was my first stay here, but it won't be my last. I'd definitely recommend it.

The front desk staff were nice, but getting a shower wasn't possible because we couldn't get hot water. It felt like camping. The room was freezing when we arrived, though turning the heat up helped. The walls were so thin we could hear everything the neighbors said, and there wasn't a coffee maker, which seemed like a strange choice.
