The staff were as sweet as could be, the location was nice and quiet, and the scenery was beautiful. Outside, the colors, pool mural, and LED lights look lovely. The beds were comfortable, though one squeaked like it had loose screws, and the sheets were very stained. Inside the bathroom, the caulking was peeling and the walls looked like the paint was melting off. The floor needed sweeping and mopping, and the remote had sticky gunk all over it. I was glad I'd brought my iPad to watch movies. The people staying there kept to themselves, which was nice.

My husband and I were driving from central TX to Miami and stopped here for the night. I had a great experience, so I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. It's a fantastic budget choice when all you need is a place to shower and sleep for a few nights. It wouldn't suit a longer stay because there aren't many amenities. The staff are really friendly if you're friendly with them too. The deposit is cash, and as long as you treat the room nicely, you won't leave broke.

I was here almost two months, and even when I asked, they wouldn't clean the room. I complained at the front desk about the mold and never being able to get it cleaned. My son has asthma, and my daughter was sick several times while we were there. I woke up with burning eyes and headaches every day until I couldn't take it and moved out. I have pictures of the mold.

There's mold everywhere, with a small but strong odor, and they did move me to another room, which was okay. When I went to check out at 7am, they said I had to wait until 9am-11. They said if I didn't get my deposit then, the $100 cash deposit would be forfeited. I called the police to get my money back, and they said that if you call law enforcement, you forfeit your money. Deceptive malpractice. How many people have they done this to? This is the worst TRASH MOTEL in the USA.

I only needed a cheap room for one night, but when I came back from dinner, the floor was crawling with cockroaches. I had to leave right away. BUGS!!! Stay at the Marriot down the street instead, it's worth it to avoid BUGS.
