The Hancock was a beautiful place for my brother’s wedding reception, with a clean, well-organized space and fast service. Downtown Findlay is only a few steps away, so guests could easily go out for drinks. Once we were inside, it was a wonderful venue, and I couldn’t recommend it more. Getting parked on arrival was awful. They knew in advance a large wedding party would need valet, but couldn’t keep up. Our parents missed the entire cocktail hour because of the delay.

We visited in early December, and the Christmas decorations were stunning. The hotel could easily pass for one of the fanciest places in New York or another big city. The staff were so helpful, especially when we needed to change our reservation. Holland made the whole experience more than five-star. I’d absolutely recommend the hotel, and Holland in particular.

We’ve had the event team help us with several parties, and they’ve made each one run smoothly. They’re responsive, thoughtful, and clearly care about making the events succeed. Zach on the valet team is always friendly, helpful, and welcoming from the moment we arrive. The rooms at The Hancock Hotel are spacious, well designed, and comfortable for a quick night or a longer stay. Between that and the staff’s service, every visit has felt top tier. A real gem in Findlay, highly recommend.

The rooms were comfortable and lovely, and the hotel was spotless with a nice scent. The lobby fireplace was lit, which made the place feel cozy, and the Christmas decorations were gorgeous. Valet staff Anthony and Melissa were kind and went above and beyond. At the front desk, Sophie and Hollace were friendly, polite, efficient, and very helpful.

The room was clean, and check-in staff and valet were friendly. Since there’s no on-site parking, valet costs $19. For a three-star hotel the stay was good, but I wouldn’t rate it four stars. My road-facing room was noisy all night. The TV only had Netflix and YouTube TV apps. There’s no dinner service on Sunday, and the front desk couldn’t suggest any nearby places open that day. There’s no room service, robes, or spa either. It’s a nice hotel and priced well, but the amenities felt like a three-star offering, so I wish it had been advertised accordingly.
