We were staying two nights and hoped not to have any more problems after the first night. The toilet flush mechanism got stuck, and my husband had to fix it himself, which was frustrating. Our room looked clean, but the furniture was dated, one lamp over the bed didn’t work, and the place seemed to lack small basics like bathroom hooks. When I raised concerns, Justin responded quickly and adjusted one night of the stay, which we appreciated. He checked us in, explained that the only luggage trolley was already in use, and was professional and helpful throughout. The lounge was quite cold, as if the building had poor insulation, and the room TV was much smaller than at other Marriott properties. We were also disappointed there was no complimentary breakfast, something we’ve come to expect at many stays. We’ve had great experiences at many Marriott hotels, so this felt out of character for the brand. With updates and more attention to detail, this property could be much better.

We drove three hours to get here, and now all the kids are upset because there’s no pool. The online listing advertised an indoor pool, so I booked three rooms so my two kids, my sister’s two kids, and a friend could all swim. Otherwise it’s a typical Courtyard and a very nice hotel.

The location is nice and the room was clean, but they didn’t freshen the room even though we stayed more than one night. At 8:40 am a maid opened the door while we were still in bed, then did it again twenty minutes later. I’ve never had that happen before, and it was uncomfortable.

The rooms are nice and clean, but be careful to pick the right Courtyard by Marriott Cincinnati Airport when booking since there are two. One has a shuttle that you have to book 24 hours ahead and pay for. The other one may have a 24/7 shuttle like the website says. They were very firm that the website required advance booking, even when I showed them it said 24/7 courtesy shuttle.

Good location and a solid room, though I had to switch rooms once because the heater was noisy. Karen, the overnight front desk person, was fantastic. She made sure the coffee was ready early for us, and that extra effort is a reason I’d stay again.
