We arrived at 11:30 p.m., and the receptionist was already irritable and unfriendly. My card was credit, but she tried to run it as debit twice. It had worked all day, and I tried explaining that, then asked to tap another way. She said the reader had tap, but it clearly didn't. I didn't want to argue with her. The room looked clean when we got in, and all we planned to do was shower, sleep, and leave early. The shower kept switching from hot to cold, which was really annoying. In the morning I found lots of bed bug bites. I'm very allergic, and my arms and face swelled and itched. The visible bites lasted through our family vacation in Gulf Shores. Breakfast was below par. The hot food ran out quickly, and not many people seemed to be eating, so it looked like they hadn't made much. I wouldn't stop at this location again for any reason. Sleep in your car instead.

The price was reasonable, breakfast had enough to fill you up even if the choices were limited, and the room was clean with comfortable beds and hot showers. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. No complaints, I'd stay again.

I had car trouble while crossing the country and needed a night in Florence, MS. The hotel was full, but the desk clerk worked hard to find me a room anyway, and I'm really grateful. The room was clean and nice, and the staff were very accommodating. There's a great catfish restaurant across the parking lot, too. They made a rough situation feel comfortable.

The hotel had been remodeled and looked good, and I felt safe there. The front desk guy stayed on his personal phone the whole time. We went for food at 8 a.m.; it was nearly gone, though we still got plenty. I'd recommend the place, no complaints.

We didn't stay after checking in and having to kill roaches on the nightstand. The front desk staff brushed it off and offered little help beyond giving us the room right next door. I'd only stay here if I brought my own can of Raid.
