The standout for us was breakfast, and Ms.Connie was the sweetest. She was so helpful and lovely to talk to, even in our short interaction. Check-in went easily, and the modern hotel was clean throughout. We had a spacious room and comfortable beds, plus a pool and basketball court. Honestly, I couldn't ask for a better stay. You HAVE to stay here.

Miss Connie, thank you. I was at the point of suicide, though she didn't know it, and she met me with gentle care and kindness through the food she gave me and her genuine warmth. Just being around her made me feel at home. I celebrate you, Miss Connie, and you deserve it. I'll definitely come back.

The room setup was especially nice: a full living room and kitchen with a full fridge, stove, dishwasher, and a separate bedroom with two queen beds. My only gripe was the single nightstand between the beds, so sharing a lamp and phone charging spot took some creativity. The whole place was spotless, with professional, friendly staff and a very easy check-in. It's easy to reach just off I-95, with plenty of parking and a covered driveway entrance. Inside, the check-in desk is to the left of the foyer and the breakfast area straight ahead. Homewood Suites began in Omaha, Nebraska in 1989, offering travelers two rooms, a kitchen, and a more relaxed stop than hotels of that era. It seems to have worked, with over 550 locations worldwide now. The Florence hotel opened in 2009. I loved the clean, convenient setup and all the space. It would work well for a short or long stay, and I highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

The whole property, inside and out, was very clean, and the parking area felt safe both day and night. Our family of five travels a lot and has stayed at many hotels, but this was the best one for us. The staff at check-in were excellent, the room was clean and had all the amenities we needed, and the beds were comfortable. We also enjoyed the clean outdoor pool, with tables and seating nearby, and the basketball court was a bonus for our older kids. Breakfast was exceptional, with top notch service again.
