Quality Inn Florence Muscle Shoals

The room was tiny, with dark liquid stains running down the wall and stained comforters. The tub was black on the bottom. There was only one outlet, and it didn’t work; the one by the fridge shorted out. They say it’s smoke-free, but that rule clearly isn’t enforced. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

My elderly mother had already booked and paid for the room before I realized what it was like. Don’t stay here unless you’re desperate and don’t mind a dirty bathroom, smoke in a supposedly non-smoking hotel, and a mildew smell. There were burns in the carpet and on the room drapes, plus stains in the bathtub and on the bedding.

I barely slept because the walls were so thin, and this turned into my most expensive hotel stay. I booked through hotels.com on 4/1/26 for 119.97. After my stay, the front desk couldn’t see that payment and charged me another 97.75 for the same room. I’ve spent two hours trying to sort it out, sent emails, and called several times, but no one is helping. I’ll never use hotel.com or this property again.

This was the only place I could find nearby, but it was a really gross stay and I wouldn’t recommend it. I usually stay at Hilton or IHG. Everything was dirty, and I was just glad to get out of the elevator alive! The hotel needs a renovation or something. It was horrible.
