Relax Inn The Grove

I was in Forest Grove to visit my daughter, and the Relax Inn B&B was an ideal place to stay. I enjoyed walking around to see the historic homes, trees, and scenery. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, and Marianne was very helpful. She worked around my morning schedule, and breakfast was a nice way to start the day. I'll stay here again next time I'm in town.

Before my daughter started her semester at Pacific University, we stayed here together. The house has a lot of character, and our room was spotless and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom. It's in a beautiful neighborhood, about a five-minute walk from campus. Marianne, the owner, was a wonderful host and prepared a special breakfast because neither of us can eat gluten. This is the place I'd choose when visiting Forest Grove.

We came for a wedding and spent two nights here. My adult daughter had the room next to ours. Both were comfortable, with modern bathrooms, roomy walk-in closets, a little sitting area, and plenty of natural light from the windows. The blinds and curtains made it easy to sleep. Marianne kindly accommodated our dietary needs, and breakfast was delicious. The property has a lot of charm, and we liked sitting beneath the old trees on the wraparound porch. Walking to town through the neighborhood and historic downtown Forest Grove was pleasant. We'd gladly stay again.

Four couples in our family stayed here when all nine siblings came from far away for my sister's retirement from Pacific University. We all loved it, and wished there had been space for everyone to have a room. Innkeeper Marianne was wonderfully friendly and a terrific cook, with something special for breakfast. The inn was very clean, and we enjoyed gathering on the front porch in the rocking chairs. There was plenty of parking, and the place really helped make our stay special.
