My king room was cold despite the wall-mounted pretend fireplace heater being on full. It was 30-40 degrees outside, and quite a bit of cold air came in under the door. Even with a towel laid there, the room wouldn't stay in the 60s. There was no AC either, just a mini fan built into the ceiling light. The room had almost no usable surface space: just a 2-by-1.5-foot bit of table beside the bed and an even smaller area around the sink. My luggage was in the way just trying to walk around the bed. The shower stall was only a little wider than my shoulders. Check-in was also a mess. At 6 p.m. nobody was in the lobby, and ringing the bell and calling the number there got me nowhere. A small child answered from a back room, then left when I asked for an adult. I waited about 10 minutes before someone finally came to check me in. I'll never stay here again.

The floor was absolutely filthy, the TV didn't work, and the shower pan drained so badly I stood in 2 inches of water. I live nearby and booked a room for the night because our shower at home was out. After reading other reviews, most of which were very bad, I wasn't surprised. Management is quick to apologize online but doesn't seem willing or able to improve the place. When I told the front desk the smoke alarm was chirping, she came into the room, took off her shoes, stood on the bed, and removed the battery. She said nothing about putting it back, which makes me wonder about local fire codes. Management, please spare me the apologies. They don't mean anything if you won't or can't make simple improvements.

The internet was down, so I couldn't get any work done, and I felt unsafe. I asked for a refund so I could move to another hotel. The staff member said she'd refund me in the morning once the internet was working again, but refused when morning came. The room itself was small, grimy, and extremely loud. You could hear traffic from the major street outside and people next door. Other guests yelled at night, and someone tried to sell drugs to my boyfriend in the parking lot. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in, hands down. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Don't stay here!

The supposed ocean view was ocean pictures painted on the window blinds. When I asked the front desk, they laughed and said, "no ocean view," as if falsely advertising it was funny. The room was old and basic, with a door that looked like it had been kicked in several times. Loud noises outside kept going until late, and early in the morning some guy's coughing and hacking woke us up. We asked for a late checkout and were told that wasn't available either. The staff were far from friendly or helpful. Very disappointing, and I'll find another hotel next time.
