We loved the peaceful, quiet city and wished we could’ve stayed longer. The house was old and charming, wooden, very beautiful, and well maintained. There’s a lovely garden outside with a table and chairs for a snack outdoors. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, and the pancakes at breakfast were delicious, such a nice bonus. Having a kitchen available was great because we could eat better and spend less.

Once we got through check-in, everything was great. My daughter and I arrived Friday, and the process was unfortunately chaotic and difficult, taking about 30 minutes. The room felt warm, bright, and inviting, and the beds were phenomenal, so soft and comfortable. My main complaint was being placed right over the kitchen in the Hayfork. The walls are paper thin, and every morning I woke much earlier than I wanted because I could hear other customers eating breakfast and talking. With a different room, I’d definitely come back.

We had a fun-filled Labor Day weekend with my family of 8, and I’m so glad we stayed at the beautiful bud and breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hosts were amazing. It was easy to walk into town and explore. The kids loved the freeze-dried candy at Kokos candy shop in the Union lumber building. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you captains quarters

I had an amazing stay, very quiet and comfortable. Becky, the inn keeper, was so nice, and the property looks amazing. This is my new go-to whenever I’m in the area.

Becky, the innkeeper, was phenomenal and so friendly. We felt safe and comfortable, and the fireplace suite is a must. Huge windows fill the house with healing light and open onto a wide, colorful view of the garden. The wood here is SOLID! Very animal friendly. Nikko🌻
