We stayed at the property for over four hours after arriving for a six-night visit and finding the electronic key latch wouldn’t work. LOWKL barely communicated with us, despite our repeated pleas for a call or for someone to come out. Once it got dark, we gave up and found another place to stay. We received only a partial refund and no apology.

The kettle was pulled by the curtain, and hot water burned my feet badly enough that I had to go to the emergency room. The booking pictures showed a modern place, but it was so outdated when I checked in.

The beach is only about a seven-minute drive away, and the place was much better in person than the pictures suggested. We had a great week staying with friends for work, and I wanted to leave reviews for each of us. Thanks for accommodating the extra things we needed at the last minute to make the work trip work. It’s a cozy, clean place with a full kitchen stocked for cooking. We used the small yard grill about three times and enjoyed dinner at the outdoor tables. The cute outside area was relaxing, and the smart TVs were a nice touch. We’d definitely rent again. Bring extra towels and blankets if you have more than two people. My stay at Leewards apartments by lowkl was absolutely perfect. The staff were welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived, and the service stayed friendly, efficient, and attentive. My room was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities I wanted. I can’t think of anything I didn’t enjoy. the Leeward apartments by lowkl exceeded my expectations, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a great Airbnb experience.

We’ve stayed in several Lowkl units around Fort Lauderdale, and they’ve all been good. The managers and staff are great, and although they ask for an ID copy and a third-party form, we’ve never had an issue with that over three months of stays. For the price, it’s hard to beat. The apartments are kept clean, the beds and bedding are comfortable, and the courtyard is cozy. This was our second visit. In Apt 1, the bed was very comfortable, the sofa bed was better, and the hot water and water pressure were both perfect. Our first stay was in Apt 7, where the hot water kept cutting in and out. The sofa bed there was broken and so bad we had to put its mattress on the floor, so it needs replacing. They gave us a regular key because the automatic lock was broken, and I hope that’s been fixed by now. There are a few downsides, but very little.
