The business stay was pretty unproductive. There was no working phone service, either inside the hotel or outside, and the water in room 327 only got lukewarm. Check-in was also slowed down because the receptionist was having trouble with the computer. The place could use some paint and drywall.

The cleaning staff seemed to be doing their best, and the room had been wiped down. The deeper problems were impossible to miss, though, and for a Wyndham-branded hotel this fell far below expectations. I wouldn't recommend staying until the property is properly maintained and renovated. My first assigned room wouldn't open because the lock light kept blinking red and the key card didn't work. The front desk attendant quickly moved me, which I appreciated. Still, I wish staff wouldn't say room numbers out loud at check-in. A guest standing nearby overheard mine, and that made me uncomfortable. The second room was in rough shape. There were holes, stains, and peeling paint on the walls, with cracks along the ceiling. The door had deep scratches and chipped paint around the lock, and the safety latch was damaged and missing screws. The mini-fridge smelled awful. Near the air conditioner and curtains, the wall had dark spots and crumbling material. The bathroom was the worst of it: serious water damage, cracks and bubbling paint on the ceiling, a dirty vent, and a loose shower rod barely hanging on. The tub was stained and discolored, with chipped paint and moldy caulking. The trim around it looked rotten from long-term water exposure. Bedding was very old and more beige than white, and the mattress and bed skirt had visible stains.

Staff were fine, but we were just there overnight and the place was full, so changing rooms wasn't an option. My wife and daughter wouldn't shower without laying a towel in the tub. I've been in the army, at harmony church ft. Benning, and even that was an upgrade. If you know, you know. A motel needs a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom, and this one missed on both. There was mold in the shower, bare unpainted patches on the walls, lumpy worn pillows, and threadbare linen. We won't stay here again. Maybe I'll skip this chain too. Really disappointing.

The window was the biggest safety worry: its locks didn't seem to work, and when I tried to open it, the whole panel fell out. The room felt neglected, dirty, and unsafe, nothing like the online presentation. I regret booking through Priceline, whose listing didn't reflect what I found, and strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Before I even got to the room, nearly every hallway door looked battered and scuffed, as if it had taken repeated damage. Inside, there was a stale, musty smell. The sheer curtains were shredded and covered in dark specks that looked like mold or some other biological residue. Other curtains were torn as if slashed, and the lampshades had visible staining or growth, hard to tell which. Rust was all over the bathroom. I booked it as a reasonably maintained, budget-friendly option. What I got was nowhere near that. This was far beyond being merely dated or well-used.
