Hilton Garden Inn Ft Myers

The fish tank in the lobby was the one thing that looked out of place. The water seemed cloudy and green, like it was due for maintenance, which surprised me since the rest of the hotel was so clean. Other than that, we had a great stay and would consider coming back. We arrived around 3 PM for a quick weekend night away and used the Hilton app digital key. It made check-in easy, and we went straight to the room without stopping at the desk. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had great AC, which matters in Florida. The lobby, fitness area, and shared spaces felt modern and well kept. It was quiet and relaxing. We planned to eat locally, so we skipped breakfast, but everything else was smooth and convenient.

I’m writing this while I’m still here, and so far the service has made me very happy. Everyone has been professional, really nice, and helpful, whether at check-in, breakfast, or in the lounge. When I was waiting in the lobby for a food delivery, Mia kindly asked if I needed utensils or napkins as I walked through with my takeout. They make you feel welcome. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, and the service was excellent. One staff member made sure everyone was happy and had what they needed. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, and the AC is cool, which matters most to me. I highly recommend staying here.

The housekeeping team was fantastic. Everyone was polite, and every housekeeper I passed said good morning. Thanks for the great service and a great hotel.

I’m really upset with this place. I brought my children here to be near the children’s hospital for my daughter’s procedure. She’s five, autistic, and nonverbal. At check-in, the receptionist rudely called her a zombie. My daughter wasn’t crying or having a fit; she was making a very quiet sound to soothe herself amid all the lobby commotion. The next morning, I asked the same receptionist if breakfast was included and whether I could take some up to the room. She said yes, and I started putting food on a plate. Then a woman from the kitchen told me I had to pay about $20. This place isn’t cheap, and the breakfast was cheap food that I thought was included, like at a budget hotel. I’ll never come back. The staff came across as stuck-up and snobby, and this place clearly isn’t kid-friendly.
