Best Western Fort Wayne I-69 North

For five weeks, our family had a comfortable place here while my husband was in town for work. We had two young kids and booked an XL King Suite with a pull-out couch for them. The weekly rates were a big help for a longer visit. Staff from management to housekeeping were kind and welcoming the whole time. Breakfast worked for everyone, with eggs and sausage, bagels, toast, yogurt, oatmeal, and waffles. The beds were firmer than we liked, and the outdoor trash pickup around 5 a.m. could be noisy, though that’s outside the hotel’s control. We were happy here for over a month, so a few days should be fine. We’d choose it again when we’re back in the area, and the negative reviews shouldn’t scare people off.

I’ve had great stays here each time. The rooms are really nice and clean, and the staff are wonderful. To the kind woman at the front desk this evening, thanks for hearing me out and paying attention to my concerns. I’ll stay here again, 10/10.

Replying to their comment: I think you charged me because the front desk said they couldn’t do anything. There was no accommodation or consideration at all. We had come for work, and at 3:30 pm our room still wasn’t ready. Then a blizzard changed our flight from Sunday to Saturday, so we needed to leave a day early. The hotel refused to refund that unused night, saying it was booked through hotels.com. But hotels.com told me the property had to issue the refund. They apparently didn’t care, and I just want the money back for the night we didn’t stay. Beware if weather disrupts your plans. The room also wasn’t very clean or pleasant. This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. I’d give zero stars if I could, and I’ll never stay here or at a similar property again. Fix this.

The pool was well looked after, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. I only wish there’d been a hot tub. The TVs had a few small issues, but otherwise I have no complaints.
