Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fort Worth South/Burleson

The rooms were great, and the staff were wonderful and accommodating. Lucy and Joseph at breakfast went above and beyond what we’ve experienced at other Fairfields. They added nice touches to the sausage with peppers and onions, kept the food bar clean and stocked, and wiped down the chairs and tables with spray bottles and clean cloths. They were pleasant and helpful every time. We’ll come back to this Fairfield Inn whenever we’re here.

The shower was great, and breakfast was the best I’ve had so far at a Fairfield in Texas. The mattress seems worn and sinks down when you lie on it, so it may be time to replace it. There’s some wear and tear in the room, and the repairs look amateur.

We had a pleasant three-night Christmas stay. The hotel was clean and seemed to have been kept updated, and the front desk staff were excellent about getting us extra pillows and towels. The lack of pork bacon during our stay was disappointing. Since the hotel is near I-35, we moved to the other end of the building, toward the regional airport side.

The room was comfortable, the place was clean, and the price was reasonable. But the next day we found our son’s truck had been broken into. Items were taken, and someone had also tried to steal the vehicle. Management offered a perfunctory “I’m sorry this happened.” We’d probably stay somewhere else if we were in the area again.
