Super 8 By Wyndham Fort Worth South

My husband and I stayed here on Nov 1st 2025, and I’ve never had anything like this happen in all the traveling I’ve done. I was sitting by the side table when I felt a roach crawling up my arm. We had no idea this was a roach motel. I contacted management, but they still haven’t called us back. The manager, Mr Patel, never bothered to return the call either. I have pictures to prove it. Do not stay here. I’d give them zero if I could.

The room was filthy and unsafe, and the lobby reeked of cigarette smoke and other odors. Our supposedly non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes too, with burn holes across the sheets and bedspread and burn marks on the carpet. The tub was dirty, the towels had black tar-like marks, and the chairs were stained and cut up, with one seat coming apart underneath. Bugs flew around and landed on the bed. The A/C was broken, moldy, and didn’t work. The TV cut out every hour and only had one channel. The nightstands were disgusting, and there was black mold around the bottom of the ice machine. We booked through our insurance company and will report it to them. Even with a discount, it cost $96, and it wasn’t worth $6. This place should be shut down. Beyond horrible!

The owner gave me the worst customer service. He said I was lying about my service dog, and he was rude and disrespectful. I had to get four new keys because they stopped working every day.

Check-in was a bad experience and didn’t meet Wyndham standards. The clerk kept insisting that AARP and AAA discounts could only be used for online reservations. He also said I couldn’t use my wife’s rewards number. I told him I’d used it for ten years at different Wyndham properties without a problem. He replied that each property owner has discretion over Wyndham Rewards usage.
