The place looked polished and clean, with a real luxury feel, and the staff were very nice. But the price was my biggest issue. There was no free breakfast or late checkout, and I left feeling I hadn't gotten my money's worth. I could have paid a third as much at the Marriott next door, or used the extra money to go out more over the weekend.

The downtown Fort Worth location is excellent, and the Art Deco building has striking design and history. We came expecting a modern, tech-forward stay, but too many basic things were frustrating. Our biggest day-to-day annoyance was the room technology. The automated lights, sensors, and controls were unpredictable, sometimes turning on unexpectedly and disturbing our sleep or comfort. The bathroom also had no dedicated vent or heat, so it was cold during our February visit, especially after a shower. The hallway carpets had debris and stayed filthy through the two days we were there. There was no on-site EV charging despite the hotel's energy-focused branding, so we spent hours charging at a nearby Super Walmart instead of relaxing. Wicked Butcher had a limited menu, and we went across the street to a bakery or drove elsewhere for more options. It's fine for a quick bite, but not the broader dining experience the hotel suggests. Service was uneven too. We waited so long for bell service when leaving that we handled our own luggage. The valet still expected a tip just for taking the cart away. Management asked us to rate the stay, but did nothing when we raised these concerns. The historic charm and Sundance Square location may still appeal if you're drawn to the technology, but our stay didn't live up to the promise of flawless modern luxury. Charging, dependable room features, service, and upkeep all fell short. I'd manage expectations or look elsewhere if those things matter to you.

Landry was a standout among the valet team. He was kind, made time for great conversations, and made sure we were looked after. The valet guys were awesome, and service throughout was top notch. Our stay was wonderful, with comfortable beds and modern rooms that still have a bit of retro charm honoring the building's history.

My husband and I had a great time here. Nungs and the other valet staff were easily the most pleasant and professional employees we met. It's refreshing to see such hard-working people when that doesn't seem to be the standard anymore. I can't give Nungs and his coworkers enough credit.

The Sinclair Hotel is right in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, with restaurants, shops, and entertainment within walking distance. The Stockyards are a short drive away, and since I grew up there, returning always feels like home. The Sinclair remains one of our favorite places to stay when we're back. Our suite upgrade brought back nice memories of staying here a few years ago for my bridal shower. The rooms are thoughtfully designed and comfortable, though a little small for a family. The building is beautiful, mixing classic character with modern touches. We enjoyed the fun surprise of a champagne cocktail, and the bar had a welcoming feel and attentive staff. The rooftop bar was great for an evening nightcap. Babacar and Nunes on the valet team were friendly and quick with the car, and incredibly patient with our toddler and all our trips in and out. They helped with luggage, brought us cold water for the road, and opened doors with a smile and warm greeting. A couple of things didn't work out. The steam shower we'd requested and looked forward to was disabled, and the front desk couldn't fix it. There are no ice machines on the guest floors, so you have to go down to the bar area for ice.
