Bavarian Inn Lodge

We had a great time at Bavarian Inn Lodge and Waterpark, and there was plenty to keep everyone busy beyond the waterpark too. The slides and splash areas were a hit with the kids, while adults had places to relax. The park was clean and well cared for, and attentive lifeguards helped us feel safe the whole time. Frankenmuth is close by, with a charming feel around town. At the lodge, our room was clean, spacious, and cozy, and the Bavarian decor gave the place a fun, distinctive feel. Staff were welcoming and helpful from arrival, and check-in went smoothly. Everything felt organized and family-oriented. We can’t wait to return, and would recommend it for a fun family getaway.

The lodge is consistently clean and well maintained, which is one reason we return year after year. Our Memorial Day weekend visit was memorable for another reason: it was our first time at the newly added water park, and it exceeded our expectations. It’s a great addition, with something to enjoy for families, couples, and friend groups. After all these years, the lodge still delivers experiences we value. The hospitality, cleanliness, amenities, and care for guests are all reasons I highly recommend it for a memorable getaway. We can’t wait to visit again.

The food and reception spaces worked really well for photos: the buffet was plentiful, the dance floor was large, and the drink pours were generous. Inside, the white ceilings bounced flash light softly and flatteringly onto couples. In January, the downstairs and shared areas had full Christmas charm, while the banquet hall still felt right for a wedding without being too seasonal. Bavarian Inn Lodge and its banquet halls are a magical setting for winter wedding photography, especially when Frankenmuth has snowfall.
