The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and quick. There's a 24-hour workout area, and breakfast is included. It's a Marriott-brand hotel, so about what you'd expect. Just off I-65 on the south side of Indianapolis, it's a convenient spot with restaurants and shops nearby, away from the city's busy traffic.

My usual hotel was full, so I tried this one because Fairfield's have worked out well for me before. This stay wasn't great. There were crumbs on the carpet by the beds, a stain left on the nightstand, and ants in the shower and bathroom. The room cleanliness was the problem.

The room was disgustingly dirty. If they don't clean the obvious mess, it makes me wonder what else they miss. Check-in wasn't much better. We stood there for about 30 seconds while an older woman tried to get into the computer, then she walked away and the other woman at the desk finally called us over without greeting us.

We always enjoy staying at Fairfield Inns by Marriott. The rooms are clean and the free breakfast is good. Most locations have flavored creamer for the coffee, but this one didn't when we arrived.

We had a nice stay here over Thanksgiving and I'd come back. Breakfast was consistently good, with several choices, and the staff were friendly and quick to help sort out any issues. The pool is small, but just right for a quick swim with little ones. There's also a nice workout facility.
