Hampton Inn Franklin

Crystal in management made me feel valued and saw to it that everything was handled. That kind of service is why I’ll come back and recommend the hotel to others. Thank you, Crystal. Your help meant a lot, and I really appreciate it.

After traveling all day, we came to check in and were told we’d have to pay a full day’s rate for just a couple of hours, or pay for two whole days if we wanted to check out after 11 a.m. One star feels like too much for those inconsiderate front desk women and the manager. We’ve enjoyed staying at Hampton hotels all over the United States, but this one left a very sour taste. This is the first bad review I’ve ever written. We went across the street and were checked in by the nicest Indian people ever. This Hampton Inn needs better management and is giving the whole brand a bad name. May God bless those women.

The clean, spacious room had a jetted tub, and I loved the comfortable bed and pillows. I used the tub, and it was great. A friendly receptionist checked me in. This overnight getaway was a Mother’s Day gift from my best friend, and I left a happy mama after a night away from home to relax.

The room was clean and comfortable, but the air wouldn’t cool it down even though I adjusted the thermostat, so it got very warm. When I mentioned it the next morning, the woman at the desk didn’t ask what was wrong or apologize. She basically blamed the humidity and said hers was higher after I jokingly mentioned I’d just come from Florida, where I’d stayed at a Hampton Inn. I felt talked down to and laughed it off a bit. I live somewhere humid too, and the air works fine there, as it did at the other Hampton Inn. It was more her attitude than the temperature. I wouldn’t rule out staying again, but be aware the air may not work and it could be warm when it’s humid, especially during a very hot, humid summer like 2025.
