Hampton Inn & Suites Franklin Berry Farms

Sharon’s welcome made our unplanned stop in Franklin a great experience. She suggested a nearby restaurant where we could eat without going far and then get some rest, and she was spot on. My wife and I were on a road trip toward a destination in Mississippi, but after driving until we felt tired, we decided to stay the night at The Hampton by Hilton. We usually plan our trips in full, so stopping at random was new for us. The hotel and our room were both very nice and clean, and everything was set up well for relaxing. I highly recommend it if you want somewhere cozy to unwind and reset. I hope Sharon is working when you visit, her customer service was amazing. Five stars!

The whole place was very clean, and the rooms were lovely. The staff were friendly without being constantly visible, yet everything they were meant to take care of got done.

Everything went smoothly during our two nights, and we’ll gladly stay again if we’re nearby. We had two rooms, both very clean and well maintained, with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. The breakfast room was bright, clean, and spacious, and there was plenty of food to choose from. The nearby BBQ restaurant was excellent, and there’s also a Shell gas station within walking distance. The hotel was easy to reach from the highway and stayed quiet at night. Everyone was kind and attentive. I’d called a couple of weeks ahead to tell the on-site General Manager, Ms. Reubens, about my mother-in-law’s sensitivity to smells, especially cleaning products. Ms. Reubens assigned our rooms in advance and arranged for hers to be cleaned without chemicals. It worked better than expected: my mother-in-law had no reaction and loved the room selected for her. She also appreciated the DirectTV setup, with lots of channels including a few HBO channels, because she already knew how to use that service and remote.

We keep coming back here when we travel through the area, and it’s our favorite place to stay overnight. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly and ready to help. Getting on and off Hwy 65 is easy, but we didn’t hear traffic from the room. The barbecue place next door is excellent, and there are gas stations nearby. Breakfast is free. It wasn’t as good as I remember from three years ago, but it was still a nice start to the day.
