The internet wasn’t good, though I expected that. The rooms were okay but dated, with some fixtures broken or coming apart. In the hallway the ceiling was lower than in the room, leaving only about three inches above my head, and I’m 6'2. One drawer was being held in place by the weight of the top drawer. When I pulled the top one out, the bottom panel fell right off. The towel hanger was barely attached and had been drilled into the wall multiple times. The toilet paper holder had come off too.

Mohamed, the GM, took time out of a very busy day to call the third party I’d booked through and try to sort things out. Their app had glitched and double booked my room for the weekend, and after I’d jumped through every hoop to get a refund or credit without any resolution, I explained the problem to him. He did everything he could to help, short of paying out of his own pocket, so I wouldn’t have to stress about it. I work in hospitality, and Mohamed is one of the good ones. Thank you for looking after me during my stay.

It was a clean, quiet, comfortable place, just what I needed. Nothing fancy, but the room was neat, the bed comfy, and everything worked as expected. I had a good stay and would consider staying again.

Check-in was easy, but the website should say that not every room is pet friendly. The price difference for a pet-friendly room is huge. I was told I’d need to cancel my reservation while there and book another one because of that price difference. Who has that kind of money? We stayed two nights and were out of the room on the first day. We expected the housekeeper to tidy up and leave fresh towels, but when we got back, none of that had been done and the room was propped open. At checkout the next day, the front desk told us we had to request housekeeping. I’ve worked in this industry and had never heard of that. I won’t return.
