Super 8 by Wyndham Fredericksburg

I've stayed at at least 10 hotels within Fredericksburg city limits while moving here, and I'm a Marriott Platinum member. For the price, this Super 8 is the best deal I've found. The updated rooms are clean, and the location is convenient for whatever you might want to do. What really makes the stay, though, is the service. If you need something or something goes wrong, the courteous, friendly management is focused on helping the customer. I love this place.

We only needed a bed for the night while in town for our uncle's memorial service, and the friendly, helpful staff made the stay easy. The queen beds didn't seem like actual queens, there were only two towels for four people, and parking was difficult because the spaces were too small. It was a little expensive, but that's Fredericksburg for you. I'd still stay again as a last-minute option.

An ice storm derailed my drive through to Austin, so I booked two nights here at the last minute. Mike, his son, and the rest of the staff were incredibly kind and helpful while I tried to arrange a tow for my camper trailer. My dog and I felt welcome and looked after. I'd recommend staying here when visiting Fredericksburg. Ten stars!

We had to return to the office in the evening to ask for our items again, since the staff had said they'd be put in the room during cleaning and they never arrived. That's the only reason I'm not giving five stars. The room was comfortable, the lot had plenty of space, and the Super 8 by Wyndham is right on Main Street, with everything we needed within walking distance. It also felt safe, and the price was affordable. I highly recommend it for the location and value.
