The room was quiet, clean, and had a large, comfortable bed. For a weekend, it worked really well, and I was pleasantly surprised by both the room and the service. The price was about two-thirds of nearby places like Staybridge Suites, with a similar room and amenities. Shampoo and conditioner have to be requested at the front desk, but the first set is free. The pet fee is also lower, at $25 per pet for the first couple of nights.

We arrived to find that only one of the two rooms we had paid for through Booking.com had been processed. The staff made me pay again for the second room, and when I explained that it was already paid, they were disrespectful and offered no help. I’m now trying to get a refund and recover that extra charge. The rooms themselves were in terrible shape. The furniture looked old and dirty, especially the couch, which we couldn’t use. The kitchen and bathroom seemed unclean and poorly maintained, and seeing insects in the room was upsetting for my family. We were four people but didn’t have enough pillows or blankets. At the front desk, I was told there were no extras because some were in the laundry. It was so bad that I thought about leaving that night, but it was already very late. I’ll never stay here again, and I’d warn other travelers away. This was one of my worst hotel experiences.

I spent several months at this Extended Stay America in Fremont for work and kept encountering roaches. I reported the problem, provided photos and videos, and was moved to another room, but the pests continued. Management knew about it, and after I raised the issue with Guest Relations, I was told pest control would be scheduled for the day after I left. I did receive a room change and a one-night credit. The most frustrating part wasn’t finding roaches in the first place, but that repeated reports over several months never led to an effective fix. Anyone considering a long stay should know about my experience. I hope the property improves conditions for future guests. If roaches are a dealbreaker, this Fremont location isn’t for you. It felt like a glorified roach motel.
