The staff across the property made this a seamless trip, from the spa and grounds to every person we met. We had one of our most enjoyable vacations and can’t wait to come back. I planned a surprise birthday weekend for my partner with Madison from Guest Experience. She was responsive, thoughtful, and detail-oriented, and made sure the room looked beautiful. Jason at the front desk was warm and helpful when we arrived. Carla at Prairie was lovely, and dinner at Trick Rider was fabulous. Henry at Apron was so kind that he surprised my partner with his favorite, Diet Cokes, for his birthday. I’ve stayed at hotels around the world, and this is one of the best experiences I’ve had. I’d give it more than five stars if I could.

The halls are a maze, with so many rooms that it’s easy to get lost, and the room felt small for the price 🤫. Still, it was a very good experience, with a nice view and a nice place. One of the most luxurious hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming 👍

For a work event with a large room block, I booked a single but got a double. There were only two room choices during registration, yet some people got suites or patios. I got neither, just two beds and a plate glass window. The golf course was visible, as the guy said, but the view was really of the whole patio and fire pit area. The staff handling our evening event were very nice and on top of things, and check-in was friendly. The food was good, though the drinks were weak at best. In the room there was no menu or information about restaurants, ordering, or where to go, and no workspace, just a couple of low chairs and a round table. For somewhere so highly touted, and after my company spent so much on the event, I expected more. It also felt like you were stuck at the resort, since there’s nothing within walking distance. You’d need an Uber or a rental car and a drive to do anything, unless you plan to eat and hang out there the whole time. I live in Frisco and had been to this property for a couple of events, but never stayed before. I’m glad the company paid, because after this experience I can’t imagine spending my own money on a staycation here. Disappointing.

The cafe staff are the best. I spent six days at the hotel and interacted with four of the younger employees. They were lively and seemed happy to be there. They made me feel like I was coming home to see my younger siblings. Such an amazing feeling. I love those guys!

I was here for a dental conference and had a great time. The resort has a huge facility, shuttles to get around, and something for all ages. There are three pools, including one for adults only. As an empty nester, seeing “ADULT ONLY” was the nicest thing anyone could say to me! Service was the best all around, and the rooms and restaurants were great. Every restaurant served big portions at reasonable rates. The okra and turkey BLT at the Ice House was a definite win, with jalapeño jelly. To me it tasted like sweet relish, but it was a perfect addition to the sandwich. Great ambience, and I’ll definitely stay again.
