My daughter said the room was really nice and just as beautiful as it looked in the pictures. The rest of the staff also gave her a warm send-off with plenty to eat. But I especially want to thank Raquel on the night shift. My daughter was driving home from college alone for the first time, so I called to get her a room. Raquel went above and beyond and gave me real peace of mind. I can’t thank her enough.

We were in town to see family and brought our two fur babies for a two-night stay. We didn’t need anything fancy, and the price was reasonable. The staff were very friendly, and Ms. Nita was the best. Since I couldn’t eat pork, she made me chicken sausage. We’ll stay here again for our niece’s graduation.

Just a quick stop, but it was a good one. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was simple: warm eggs and crispy bacon.

If you don’t want to stay downtown, this isn’t a bad choice. One of our favorite seafood spots, The ShellHouse Seafood Restaurant, is at this exit. The Hampton Inn breakfast is okay, no complaints. We usually take it back to the room and plan our day.

I’ve stayed here for years, and this visit the hotel was much cleaner than before. Breakfast was hot and really good, and they’ve finally removed the $5 parking fee they introduced last summer. I complained, and heard other guests staying there last July doing the same. Kudos to Raquel at the desk. She was very friendly and made sure you knew she cared that you were staying there.
