Studio 6 Extended Stay - Savannah, GA - Gateway & I-95

The sink wouldn’t drain, the toilet was broken, and the shower couldn’t be used. The place was disgracefully disgusting. Never stay here.

Random clothes were left in the doorway, and the room wasn’t clean. Roaches showed up as soon as we arrived. We asked the receptionist for our money back because we’d changed our minds and wanted to leave, but she said it was too late, even though we were only staying one night. I wish I could get a refund. I wouldn’t do it again. Please don’t stay at this motel, they have a bad roach infestation.

We ended up here after problems with the place we’d planned to stay, and there weren’t other options. I’d have rather slept in my car. The price quoted on the phone didn’t match what was charged to my card, and the front desk guy was kind of rude. There were gnats all over the room, flying out of the sink drain. The sink had yellow stains and hair and dirt on the counter. The tub had strange stains too, and the shower head and handles were loose and not well kept. Two towels had brown stains, the bare mattress was stained, and water dripped from the fridge. There was a random light switch that did nothing, and the smoke detector had been ripped off the wall, leaving wires exposed. I don’t recommend it.

The rooms smelled awful, with dead and live roaches, and the vents and filters were gross. When we went to the desk to ask for a refund, someone ahead of us handed management a crack pipe they’d found in their room. That was enough for us, we got out of there.
