Sheraton Austin Georgetown Hotel & Conference Center

I was concerned about the carpet, which felt dirty and sticky and made the room less comfortable. The room looked a little dated, though it was generally well maintained. Some parts of the property seem to have been renovated, but not the room I had. The hotel is in a lovely, peaceful neighborhood that’s easy to walk around. Staff at reception and in the restaurant were consistently friendly and gave excellent service. Breakfast was better than I usually find at a Sheraton. There’s no Club Sheraton lounge, but the reception staff were happy to provide drinks and snacks when asked.

The rooms were well kept and the food was good. The staff really made our stay better: the receptionists were all great, and the woman at the downstairs restaurant kept bringing me cappuccinos for days with a smile.

I stayed at the Sheraton Austin-Georgetown Hotel and Conference Center for business and enjoyed it. The pool area was beautifully laid out and well manicured, a nice place to relax. My room was clean and well appointed, and the staff were friendly and supportive. Breakfast at Brix & Ale was phenomenal and worth the price. It’s only minutes from beautiful downtown Georgetown and would work well for meetings with colleagues or a family vacation.

I’m in the Austin area for work about once a month, and I’ll do what I can to plan my route so I can stay here. It’s far and away the best value I’ve found. The beds are really comfortable, the shower pressure is great, and the AC actually works. Even the bathroom hairdryer has plenty of power, and the toiletries were better than I expected at this price.
