Wingate by Wyndham Savannah Gateway

I left before an hour was up and booked somewhere else. The bed had hair on it, pink mold covered the bathroom drain, and the shower shelves were SO dirty. I’d booked a day room expecting it to be clean, but I felt grossed out and really uncomfortable. The hotel seriously needs to do better with cleanliness. Don’t book here at all.

The hotel itself was very clean and nice, but we woke up with severe flea or bug bites all over our feet and legs. My husband, our 11 month old, and I were staying overnight on our way from Florida. I told the front desk, but the woman there wasn’t friendly and didn’t apologize. Customer service contacted the hotel after I messaged them, and the hotel offered no compensation. They didn’t seem to care at all. I had to go to a CVS for Benadryl topical spray to stop the itching, and I sent pictures as proof. If my baby had been bitten, we would’ve had much bigger problems. The room needs to be treated for bugs or fleas. We were in room 306, so beware. It’s a nice hotel, but DO NOT sleep under the covers. The hotel staff’s customer service was horrible. Y’all are what’s wrong with this world. Do better. Care more.

The beds were really comfortable. I just wish there’d been a mirror in the room, instead of only in the bathroom.

They upgraded us to a suite for free, and the customer service was great. Our room was clean, too. Breakfast was free, with eggs, sausage, and a pancake maker that churned out really good McD’s type pancakes. We had a stellar stay! Y’all should add a hot tub though, lol.
