Courtyard Memphis Germantown

We were house hunting in Memphis after moving from Texas for work, and stayed here for four days. The rooms looked nice, and most staff were friendly, but a number of things made the visit disappointing. After a 12-hour drive, we still waited over 30 minutes to check in, when all we wanted was to get to our room and rest. The elevator also had ongoing problems the whole time. Our room felt stuffy, almost suffocating, and was right above the patio, where guests were loud and disruptive well into the early morning. The beds and pillows were some of the most uncomfortable we've experienced. At the bistro, an employee charged my sister-in-law for a venti but gave her a grande. She said they were out of venti cups and offered to make another if we wanted to wait, but walked away before my sister-in-law could answer. We were on a tight schedule and couldn't stay. The hotel was decent in some ways, but all these issues made the stay less enjoyable.

The rooms have been newly renovated and were very clean, and the location was great. Customer service was phenomenal. Special thanks to General Manager Katie and her team, Demetrius, Kylie, and Antonio. The free popcorn in the lobby was a fun touch. I'd highly recommend it.

I spent two weeks here on a business trip, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Everyone had such great personalities. The pool was nice and warm too. Thanks to the people here for making my time away from home more enjoyable.

Lorrie greeted me with a big smile, and Demo gave me excellent service. They had my keys ready, which made the stay more relaxing. It was a wonderful experience, and I'll stay here again whenever I'm in Memphis.
