Quality Inn Gettysburg Battlefield

We were happy with our stay and would recommend it for a couple of nights if you want an affordable, convenient base. The location works especially well for biking, with easy access to the trails, and downtown is walkable. The price was good, breakfast was included, and the small pool was handy with kids. Breakfast is buffet style and decent, but the house where it’s served doesn’t have much seating for a hotel this size. Our room was clean and comfortable enough, though the heater fan was loud. There’s a bar on site that we didn’t get around to trying. Across the way, a local brewery serves delicious food and drinks.

The location was stellar, and you can walk downtown if you don’t have physical limitations. We had our two dogs with us and appreciated the nice green area. The room was spacious and clean, and housekeeping and the breakfast attendant were absolutely lovely and friendly. The toilet was a problem because you had to hold the flusher down the whole time. I mentioned it at checkout, and the front desk woman seemed a little cranky. I’d rate the stay 4.5, since we really did enjoy it.

A friend who’d stayed here recommended it for our last-minute trip. The staff were helpful, the beds comfortable, and the little breakfast cottage was cute. I wish I’d had more time to spend there, and enough energy to try the bar, but after a long trip I needed sleep. The pool looked great, too.

The outdoor pool was a real bonus, and having clean towels right there was nice. The hotel is in a great location, and I’d stay again. For a short Gettysburg visit, our room surprised me with how clean it was, and the king bed was exceptionally comfortable. My husband handled the booking. The room felt spacious even though my photos show our things already in it, and the AC worked great. The outside stairs could use some attention.
