Glenwood Springs Inn

The rooms were clean and maintained, though a little old, and renovated. Breakfast had very good options, and the hot springs are close enough to walk to. The experience was good overall. Having to pay extra for parking on arrival was a downside.

For what the rooms cost, you get what you pay for. The room was clean, and the front desk staff were consistently helpful and nice. The walls are thin, and the shower water was warm rather than hot. We asked maintenance to check it, but they said they couldn't turn up the water heater because it might get too hot for some guests. That didn't make sense to me, though it didn't affect our stay much. I wouldn't recommend the hotel, but I also wouldn't tell you not to book it.

Our suite was two rooms, with a living room and kitchen that had a full-size refrigerator, cooktop, and dishes for four. It worked perfectly for the four of us to spend time together talking, eating, and playing games. The hotel was nice, and every staff member we met was kind and ready to help.

Whenever I'm traveling through Glenwood Springs, I stay here. My two dogs and I sleep really well in a comfortable, safe space. I travel with a GSD and a Great Dane, and the hotel is pet-friendly. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean, and it's a good place to land. Breakfast is laid out well and has several options, not just waffles. I highly recommend staying here.
