Columbine Motel

I was in town for work, and the rooms were really clean. The owners were helpful in every way, and I loved the room decorations, especially the flowers. I recommend this hotel for a quiet, peaceful stay. If you want time alone, ask for room 27. You won’t hear the outside world.

The owner was a big help parking our rrv, which was in a fire and left us needing a motel room for the night. Our room was pet-friendly, and the rooms were neat, clean, and nicely decorated. There was a nice continental breakfast, too. If I’m in Grand Junction again, I’m definitely staying here.

We arrived after 3 am, and the owner made sure we could get into our room without a problem. He was incredibly nice. The room was very nice, with hardwood floors, and there was a good continental breakfast and coffee in the morning. Excellent for the price.

We’ve stayed here twice, and for the money it can’t be beat. The rooms are fairly large, clean, and attractive, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. From the road it looks like a typical mid-century “motor hotel,” but inside the rooms have been updated to modern standards. I especially like the tile and wood floors, no nasty carpet.
