The Morton Hotel

I’ve been here over a year and it’s been a positive experience the whole time. I don’t drive, so having shops and bus lines within walking distance is a real perk. The other tenants are friendly, the two women in the office are great, and the staff are accommodating and know who lives here. It’s also quiet, and I feel safe with the security.

We spent nearly two years at The Morton and had a good experience throughout. The building felt safe, the amenities were great, and whenever we needed help the staff responded promptly and professionally. Parking could be tough sometimes, though that’s a downtown GR problem, not the property’s fault. I’d recommend it to family or friends, and I’d choose it again if I moved downtown.

I moved into The Morton on Valentine’s Day, and it’s been lovely from the start. The staff are kind and quick to respond, and the other tenants are friendly. My cats love looking at the city views. Restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and local events are only a 2-5 minute walk away. Such a great find!

For us as a couple new to GR, The Morton was a great apartment. The building was pretty clean, maintenance was friendly and responsive, and the other residents were nice. They sometimes held social events in the lobby, with free coffee and lattes, and there was always something happening right outside. We lived there in 2023-2024 on the 10th floor, paying $1975 per month for a two-bedroom, with utilities around $85 per month. The renewal price was the downside. We thought the offer was too high and signed a lease elsewhere before learning their software lowered it by $10-20 each day until the offer ended. If we’d known sooner, we would’ve signed again for another year. The final offer was only $70 more than our original lease. It also seemed like there wasn’t an onsite property manager for most of the year, though that changed in our last month.
