Fairfield Inn Greensboro Airport

The first person I dealt with was the friendly woman who checked me in, so things started well. I knew the property was older, which is fine, but it needs cleaning. Bugs were still on the hallway ceiling when I came back from the gym, dinner, and errands, including a black beetle outside my door and centipedes. Later, when I went to shower, the water never got hot no matter how I turned the handle. There were little hairs all over the shower, the drain was blocked, and I was standing in about half a foot of water with hair in it. A towel I thought was clean had black hair inside. Then I spotted a huge centipede crawling on the ceiling over my bags. I packed in a rush and left with wet hair and things hanging out of my bags. Before I showered, I had called to ask about checking out. The man on the phone said I'd still be charged and owe a cancellation fee, then hung up. When I reached the desk, the same man was talking to another upset guest and ignored me. After nearly 15 minutes, I put down my key and told him I was leaving. At 12:30 am I had to haul all my things to find another hotel, and I'm glad I did. Manager Jojo refunded me and was kind and apologetic. There were also people hanging around outside the hotel. Do NOTTTTT stay here unless bugs, hairy showers and towels, and incompetent staff sound fine to you.
