Drury Inn & Suites Greensboro

The meal was fantastic, especially the meatballs with gravy, and the staff at the evening kickback were kind enough to help with little things like a tray or extra cups. The front desk team made check-in easy and smooth, and they were helpful when I asked about restaurants and things to do nearby. The whole place, from lobby to guest rooms, was immaculate. This is the friendliest, cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at. I wish I could give it 100 out of 10. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

Destiny and Nichole were so kind and attentive when we had an issue. They handled it quickly, and we’ve never stayed somewhere that paid such close attention to guests. Thank you both so much. Nichole, go see the monks! Our corner king room was spotless, quiet, and comfortable, with soft bedding, lots of fluffy pillows, and air conditioning and heat that were easy to control. The shampoo and conditioner left my hair soft and manageable. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and there’s complimentary dinner each night along with two adult drinks per person. Every night of the stay, which is amazing. The hot tub was bubbly and hot, and not too crowded, so it was easy to relax. The pool was freezing, lol, but clean and crisp, good for a quick dip or a polar plunge if that’s your thing. Cold water apparently makes your hair shiny too. Honestly, wow. I don’t know why anyone would stay anywhere but a Drury Inn.

Danielle was fantastic and really accommodating. Give that woman a raise! The room was on the small side but cozy, and the shower pressure on the top floor was great. The free internet was faster than at any hotel I’ve used, and I travel for work. Breakfast and dinner were good, though it’s complimentary, so don’t expect a seven-course meal. Free drinks too. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in town. Thanks, Drury staff!

We reserved a room on January 9 for Valentine’s Day weekend, then got a call at 3:08 PM, eight minutes after check-in began, while we were on our way. The hotel had overbooked and had no room for us. They offered cancellation or a stay at the Burlington location, about 30 minutes away. Since dinner and the rest of our evening were planned in Greensboro, we had to rearrange everything around the longer drive. We’d planned to check in, enjoy happy hour, get ready, then come back after our plans for the pool and hot tub. At check-in in Burlington, they offered us $30 off. I accepted because we were stressed and trying to salvage the night, but after thinking it over, that felt like very little compensation for relocating us at the last minute on a holiday weekend, despite having confirmed the reservation more than a month earlier. I understand overbooking happens, but being told just minutes after check-in on one of the busiest nights of the year was extremely disappointing. We called after the stay to work this out and were told nothing else could be done.
