Hilton Greenville

We’re IHG members, and this was our first Hilton in a while. The app made check-in easy, and we could unlock the doors with our phones while still using the room’s deadbolt. We got a great event block rate and were upgraded to a very large, nice suite. The hotel connects to the convention center, by the way. It took us a while to figure that out. Parking was plentiful and free, and the front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Even with every room booked for the event, they quickly brought extra bedding for the kids’ pullout sofa when I called. The place felt surprisingly safe compared with what we expected driving through the area. There are lots of places a short walk away. If we’re back, we’ll definitely stay here again!

Every night, they light the fire pits in the courtyard, and it’s worth heading out to enjoy them. The hotel has everything we needed. It was very clean, the staff were courteous and helpful, and the room smelled great and felt warm and relaxing.

Our adjoining rooms on the second floor were very clean, with nice white linens and large smart TVs. One had a queen bed and a loveseat with a pullout sofa; the other had two queen beds. I liked the smaller bathrooms, which weren’t accessible rooms, because they were easier to navigate. There was a large grab bar in the tub, which was low to step into, plus a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and coffee supplies. Accessibility needs and our in-room dining request were handled kindly and promptly. The lobby and convention area bathrooms had private stalls and disposable seat covers. There was a complimentary coffee bar at the entrance during set hours, as well as a full-service restaurant and bar. Parking was free, easy, and on level ground. There were shops across the road and nearby, and the location wasn’t far from major interstates. The decor throughout this large property was beautifully done, with a peaceful feel from the lighting, seating, fixtures, and wall art. We were part of a large Church group attending a Convocation, and the front desk team, Sabra, Gloria, and Amber, were kind and helpful throughout our four-day stay. A representative helped my family member out of the car, brought a luggage rack and wheelchair while checking us into the adjoining rooms, and brought our bags to the rooms. I thought that was amazing service, and it seemed like this level of care was the norm. The people who answered the phone, room service staff, and two maintenance workers who helped with our luggage at checkout were appreciated too.

I had a very pleasant work stay and would choose this hotel first if I return to Greenville. The lobby was beautiful, the AC kept up with the summer heat, and the staff were so nice. The front desk arranged a late checkout for my work commitments and had clearly passed that along to housekeeping, so no one disturbed me. Housekeeping was excellent and friendly; my room was spotless, the bed super comfy, and the shower very clean. I ate dinner at Julep and was pleased with both the tasty, reasonably priced food and the service. The outdoor patio areas were peaceful, and the hotel is close to everything you’d need around the city. Thanks for a pleasant stay!
