Breakfast is handy when you just need a quick bite before heading out, and the bathroom had great water pressure. The room was tidy and very clean, as it was on our previous visit, and the larger fridge and kitchen items are useful. We slept well last time, but this mattress was unusually firm and looked like it might be a problem as soon as we saw the made bed. The TV sat on the wall between the bed and sofa and could swivel either way, but it was always at an angle, which annoyed my travel companion. We were trying to watch the hockey playoffs. There’s a couch and a rolling desk chair, but no accent chair that he could have moved into place. I’m not a fan of hotel trash cans without liners, and they don’t use them here. The digital tipping option seemed convenient, but scanning the QR code gave us an error every time. Maybe the person whose card was listed no longer works there, or perhaps it wasn’t set up right. We left some cash and a note about the code.

The front desk was really kind, and breakfast was great. We had plenty of room for our family and loved having a kitchen. The hotel was comfortable enough that this stay made us think about sticking with this part of the Hilton chain.

We’d had a perfect stay on our first visit, so this return was a letdown. The toilet wouldn’t flush when we tried it. Someone came up and said it was fixed, and it did flush, but when we returned after being out for the day, the room smelled strongly of raw sewage. We also asked for clean towels and never got them. Very disappointed by the lack of response.

After ten hours on the road, I arrived late at night and Cassandra welcomed me with a warm smile. That made me feel at home and set the tone for my three-week stay. The service was great, and breakfast was always good. I’ll miss the blueberry muffins and would definitely stay again.
