The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, service that honestly surprised me since it's rare these days. The rooms are just okay, nothing special but not awful. For this area I expected them to be bigger, since they're barely larger than a typical NYC room. The water pressure was great, though the shower itself was small. Those little green outlet lights on both sides of the bed were a strange choice for a hotel. The biggest issues for me were the noisy trucks going by and the WiFi. At 3Mbps, it just doesn't cut it in 2025. I've spent 83 nights in Marriott's this year and this was the slowest hotel WiFi I've had, slower than what I get in flight. I wouldn't recommend it for business travelers.

If you want a laid-back place to stay, this isn't it. We were trying to eat and spend time with our group in the lobby outside quiet hours, but the front desk staff kept glaring at us and yelling. They said we couldn't drink alcohol on the property because they don't have a liquor license, which is the opposite of the law. If they had a license, bringing your own alcohol could be an issue. The staff were very rude, especially to kids. Children weren't allowed to jump or splash in the pool or throw a football there, even when our family was the only one using it. The rooms are small, towels were handed out stingily, and there were never enough by the pool. The shampoo and conditioner were empty when we arrived, and the whole hotel had plumbing problems when we checked out. Don't stay here.

The rate and tax treatment were never fixed, despite my providing the tax-exempt form at check-in and bringing the issue to their attention. I was supposed to get the government rate and tax-exempt status. The stay was frustrating and inconvenient, and I expected better follow-through and service. My first-floor room was at the far end of the hall beside the stairwell and exit. With the elevator broken, there seemed to be much more foot traffic, and doors slammed through the night and early morning, making sleep difficult. The hotel has been recently remodeled, which shows, and the reception staff were courteous and helpful. The free breakfast was extensive and well attended by staff. Rooms were comfortable and well appointed, with a good bathroom, strong shower flow, and a quality TV. It's easy to reach from I-81. One thing to keep in mind: distribution centers are nearby, and trucks pass the front all night. I'd suggest asking for a room at the back if you want a quieter stay.
