I felt comfortable and safe here, and got the rest I needed between trips to the hospital while I was in town. The place was very clean, and everyone from the manager and owner to housekeeping and maintenance was wonderful. There are good restaurants nearby, including some that deliver, plus vending for snacks and drinks. They have coffee in the morning, and tea too. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot, and the price was more than decent. I'd recommend this place if you need a decent night's sleep.

The room was comfortable enough, but there were stains on the TV and bedframe that shouldn't have been there. I hope housekeeping gives them a more thorough clean. Also, whenever we used the microwave, the TV shut off by itself. The two wouldn't work at the same time.

The maintenance guy called the next morning to check whether we still needed him to look at the shower drain, even after we'd figured out the problem and told the front desk it wasn't needed. He was friendly and seemed concerned about our stay. The rooms look decent at first, and they had the amenities promised, but the place was dirty and falling apart. Later, the towel rods pulled right out of the wall. I only meant to mention it casually to the front desk, but after that I checked more closely. The cloth shower curtain had buildup and mold, the mirror had mold or some kind of caked-on gunk, and the mattress corners and sheets had mold and what looked like stains. I felt disgusted and discouraged, and was glad the stay was almost over.

The room was extremely dry, so bring a case of bottled water if you're staying overnight. This felt like a typical motel, with people living there week to week. At 3 p.m. on a Tuesday, I heard a resident having sex after meeting with his parole officer. He was completely naked except for a robe. I had to inspect the towels and bedding. The bedding was covered in hair, some pieces and the pillowcases had faint stains, and there was old orange-colored stuff on the inside of the shower curtain. The floor towel had a long curly pubic hair on it, so I flipped it over before showering. There was also a dead bug squished on my wall.
