The staff made a good impression, everyone I spoke with was friendly and willing to answer questions. Check-in and checkout were quick, and the room had what I needed for a short stay: a comfortable bed, fresh linens, a mini-fridge, microwave, and reliable Wi-Fi. It was clean and easy to settle into after a long day. Breakfast was included, simple and fresh, and parking felt secure and was easy to manage. The location is handy for getting onto major highways, with stores and places to eat nearby. For the price, I found Super 8 by Wyndham Hartford comfortable and good value. I'd stay again and recommend it to someone looking for an affordable option in the area.

We rented a room for me and three friends while we were getting off the road and waiting for my friend's dad's ashes. We were there for just a few hours the night before visiting a friend. The front desk man said I didn't have a room, though it was room 104, then kept shouting and walking toward me as if he was going to attack me. I jumped into my car and left as quickly as I could. He filmed me leaving. It was frightening, and I hadn't done anything wrong. I'm thinking about suing, even if it costs me money, and I'm definitely going to try to get him fired. The tall, bald Indian man at the front desk should be arrested. He was aggressive, rude, and had no customer service skills.

I never got the room key or even went into the room, since the service wasn't provided after the website failed to confirm the age restrictions. When I went in for a refund, they said the manager would be there at 9 a.m. I went home and returned the next day, but was told the manager still wasn't there and I'd have to wait until the end of the week. I wasn't willing to wait. The man argued that it wasn't his problem and I needed to call the manager. I called again and again with no answer, then had to report it as fraud through my bank. Getting my money back took weeks. The front desk guy had an attitude the whole time and offered no help. Wouldn't recommend.

The building doesn't feel secure, and paying guests aren't protected from people wandering in from outside. When it's very cold, vulnerable guests can get harassed by locals who linger in the building, pestering and threatening them. Homeless people roam around inside trying to keep warm.

We had a good time with my hubby, but we're not coming back. The place was trashy, and everything felt nasty: dirty rooms, huge stains on things, broken items all over the hotel, and a mildew smell. The hallway tiles were cracked and broken too. There were fights, if that's what you're looking for, LOL. The carpet had sticky stains everywhere, so trust me, you won't want to walk on it barefoot. Yuck.
