Sleep Inn & Suites

The room was comfortable and clean, and this was one of the better Sleep Inns we’ve stayed at. The toilet wouldn’t stop running, but it was late and we chose not to bring it up then.

The rooms are large for the price, and the place had recently been renovated. Breakfast was a real plus: Belgian waffles, eggs, bacon, cereal, potato hash, and muffins. We were glad we stayed and felt we got good value. The pool light switch was hard to find, and the soda machine only took cash.

We booked a spacious, clean suite with two beds and a pullout couch for the five of us, and there was plenty of extra bedding. The water pressure was excellent, and breakfast was included with the usual items. The desk clerk working late was friendly and got us checked in quickly after we decided to stop driving for the night. It’s right off the interstate and felt like good value. We could hear every movement from the rooms above and around us all night because the walls are so thin. I can’t really blame the hotel for that, though, and we’d stay again.

The staff were kind and quick to respond, and the stay was fine, but the hotel feels old and worn. The more I looked around, the more broken and dirty things I noticed. The microwave was filthy, breakfast was inedible, and the TV sounded horrendous.
