Regency Travel Inn

I’m sure the beds are full size, not queen, and they weren’t comfortable at all. The rooms are cheap, but not worth staying in. My Apple Watch went missing from the room while I was out. My boyfriend spoke with the man at the office, who said he hadn’t taken it but had cleaned our room himself. I know where I left the watch, and it wasn’t anywhere in the room. I’d rather stay at the Drury down the road and won’t come back here. A police report was filed with the hayti police department.

I’m concerned about possible credit card fraud. We stayed one night at the Regency Travel Inn, Hayti, MO. on 03/18/2026. At check-in, the clerk scanned my driver’s license, then I saw him type my credit card number into his computer before swiping the card through the reader. I immediately objected to him writing down my number, which I felt meant he was stealing it. He gave what I thought was a lame excuse, saying, “what if you stay an additional night”. The clerk now has a copy of my license and my card information. This could be identity theft and/or credit card theft. I’ll never let this happen again, and I’ll never return to this place.

I’ve stayed here twice. Everything was clean, and I never saw any bugs. It’s a lot better than other hotels I’ve stayed at, and for the price, you can’t beat it.

After a day of travel, we arrived only after calling six times with no answer. We’d booked online and wanted a king, but the king room didn’t have a pull-out couch. The person at the front desk wasn’t helpful. Our room was hot and had live and dead bugs, and the tub was gross. The queen beds were full size, not queens. There was mold on the paintings and blood on the sheets. I couldn’t get a refund, so I had to stay, but I’d never sleep here again. DON’T DO IT!
