Holiday Inn Express & Suites Irving Conv Ctr - Las Colinas by IHG

The showers deserve 10 out of 5 stars. I've never had one that good. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast was yummy, and everyone was super kind. Great value and a fantastic place to stay for a show at the Toyota Music Factory. Hats off to holiday inn for delivering so much for the price. 🥳

The room was decent, though the noisy HVAC made it hard for me to sleep well. The shower was great, with hot water and strong pressure. The hotel's style could use an update, but it seems to be booking well with the convention center so close, and a new building is going up next door. The staff made a much bigger impression. The general manager, the woman at the front desk, and the woman helping with breakfast were all amazing. I had caused some problems with my reservation, and the general manager went out of her way to sort them out without making a fuss. I wish I'd remembered their names. Thanks for the stay!

The walk to the conference center is possible, but it follows a busy road and feels sketchy. The hotel's location beside the center was still really useful for us, and the price was reasonable. We had a spacious room that worked perfectly for our stay, friendly and helpful staff, and no problems at all. Breakfast was ordinary, nothing special, but it did the job. I'd recommend the place.

We returned to the Holiday Inn Express Irving Convention Center – Las Colinas twice in December, staying December 5-7 and December 11-13, 2025. Both visits were pleasant, and the nightly price felt fair for the area. The rooms were roomy and comfortable, with kitchenettes that let you pick up groceries at Whole Foods or Walmart, about 3-4 miles away, and cook in your room. That's useful for a longer stay or if you'd rather have a homemade meal. The rooms could use a tub and shower update to feel more current, though comfort wasn't an issue. The location is a major plus. You're right by the Irving Convention Center and close to Bar Louie – Music Factory, Gloria’s Latin Cuisine, Thirsty Lion, Yard House, Sushi Sakana, The Plaza @ Toyota Music Factory, Reservoir @ Toyota Music Factory, Raleigh Underground, and at least 13 other places for food, drinks, or entertainment. Jimmy John’s, Starbucks, Chipotle, McDonald’s, and other quick options are about a mile away. The downstairs common area smelled nice, and the staff were friendly whenever we spoke with them. We also appreciated the coffee and hot chocolate available around the clock, plus breakfast every morning. The elevators were painfully slow, and each ride felt suspenseful, though we always made it to our room and back out without getting stuck. Holiday Inn should fix them. We enjoyed both stays and would come back; with a few updates, especially the elevators, the hotel could be great.
