The price was reasonable, and I still found it a very nice place to stay. A few things could be better, though: the heat ran nonstop, the door's security chain was broken, and there weren't any extra pillows. A comfortable chair would be a welcome addition.

We could barely hear anyone through the well-insulated walls, and the AC worked fine. The rooms are really nice. We booked through booking.com and gave an arrival window of 11 pm-12 am, which was no problem. It's about an hour and a half from both Duluth and the UP. There's a TV in the downstairs room if you want it, and the Wi-Fi code is on the back of the door.

The room was clean and comfortable, with one queen bed on the main floor and another in the loft. We were in the area to mountain bike around Seeley and Cable, and Lenroot Lodge was in a great spot behind the Sawmill Saloon. The housekeeper was very nice and had shown us a room on an earlier visit to the area.

The loft bedroom was really cool, and the craftsmanship gives the place a feel of the Swiss Alps. It's worth a visit or a stay. Just allow an extra hour for check-in.

There are trees and lakes all around, with pretty flowers, outdoor tables, and places to sit. The lodge is about 10 miles from Hayward, right beside a restaurant and bar. The rooms are spacious, with two beds, one at entry level and one in the loft, plus a mini fridge and microwave. Body wash and shampoo are provided in the shower. My room was sparkling clean, not just fresh-smelling, and I'm picky about that. Kudos to the staff for the work they put into cleaning and disinfecting. Please leave them a tip.
