My Place Hotel-Las Vegas South/Henderson, NV

We found everything in the room working, and it was clean and spacious, with clean beds. There’s a large parking area with plenty of free spaces, plus guest laundry. It’s well placed in the city near the street, but set back enough that it was quiet at night. The room has a large refrigerator, microwave, sink, and stovetop. The kitchenette is completely bare, though, with no pots, pans, cups, knives, or utensils, so bring anything you’ll need. A good place for a family to stay for several days.

The room had a strong smell, like the inside of a Burger King in the worst way, so we kept the window open as long as we could. That made it noisy and cold. The coffee was horrible, and there weren’t any dishes at all. Better coffee, washcloths, and at least some plastic dinnerware would help. Having absolutely nothing makes the kitchenette feel pointless. We could have asked to move rooms, but my husband had already started unpacking and we’d put the cooler contents in the fridge, so it would have been a big hassle. The rooms should be checked for odors during cleaning. Jules, the GM, was very nice about letting us check out early, even though we hadn’t asked about switching rooms when we checked in. We’ve had another great stay at My Place on St. Rose Pkwy in Henderson, NV. The location is perfect, and Jules and his team are consistently friendly, professional, prompt, and efficient. Our rooms are always super clean, inviting, and have everything we need. We’ll keep staying here!

The back view was of an industrial parking area, so it wasn’t great, but there were restaurants in the plaza and nearby. For a one-night trip, it worked out pretty well. The room was clean, with a full-size fridge, two-burner stove, microwave, iron and board. The shower was clean and had hot water, and there were bottles of shampoo and soap. There’s no ice machine, but the fridge makes ice. The front desk staff were helpful and nice, and they got us into the room an hour early, which mattered because we were going to a wedding. This place turned out to be a pleasant surprise, and it was nice and clean.
