Luke was a great host, and the proprietors were awesome. Breakfast was delicious. The home is on the National Register of Historic Places and is conditioned accordingly, so expect charming historic furniture and decor. It was warm and cozy, with a great location close enough to walk to Main Street, wineries, restaurants, shops, and the Missouri Riverfront. There are no TVs in the upstairs rooms. The backyard has a sitting area, firepit, and BBQ. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

The place was pretty, and Luke got me a TV when I asked. But my room wasn’t ready, there were used towels in the bathroom, and there was no hot water. They said they’d fixed it, but at midnight it still wasn’t hot. My internet went out at 7 a.m., and I went home to Kansas City. I wasn’t there for eight hours, yet these kind people charged me for three nights. Such a disappointment. Don’t waste your money.

We had a wonderful weekend. It was quiet and close to restaurants and wineries, and Luke was a wonderful host.
