We were there for two nights earlier this month, and Peter had communicated well before we arrived. The room was cool and well kept, the fridge came in handy, and the pool was refreshing. Breakfast was wonderful too. Peter pays attention to what travelers prefer, and the personalized country and state flags at the breakfast tables where different guests sit are a lovely understated touch. He also gave us great sightseeing tips for nearby places and the northern Arizona areas we were heading toward, including some spots off the beaten track. We've already recommended the Globetrotter Lodge to others going to the Petrified Forest.

The owners really went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and we'll definitely come back. Globetrotter Lodge was one of the coolest places we've stayed, with very clean rooms decorated in an old Rt. 66 style. They still had all the comforts of home, including air conditioning, which I was glad to find. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful too.

I was unsure about staying here at first, but the place completely surprised me. The rooms are cute, very clean, beautifully kept, and full of route 66 decor. It was fun learning the friendly owner was from Austria, and the complimentary breakfast was amazing. The shower and toilet being in a separate room from the sink was a little unusual, though not a big inconvenience. Also, the blinds let in some light, especially in rooms on the check-in lobby side. Still, amazing rooms, breakfast, and service. I'd recommend it to anyone passing through Holbrook, and it's a must stop if you're visiting the petrified forest.

Breakfast was the highlight for us. The food was similar to a typical chain hotel's, but having the owners prepare your eggs and give personal attention made it feel much more intimate. Our clean double room was comfortable and fun, with simple, kitschy updates and good appointments. There was also a little alcove just beside it where we sat and played cards. A great family-owned motel for an overnight stop on our way east to Santa Fe.

A really nice stay. The owners are friendly and attentive, and the pool is very nice. Breakfast was sparse, mostly cereal and bagels. The renovated Route 66 motel has a lovely European feel in the room decor. Each room comes with a fridge and coffee maker. I don't smoke, but the covered smoking spot is well set up with booths, tables, and chairs.
