The rooms were cute and clean, and the small pool was handy for a quick cool-down. They provide towels and beach chairs for both the pool and beach. It's a great spot, half a block from the broadwalk, with a water taxi stop right across the street. Our TVs didn't work at all, and we only had one remote. The rooms could use some cosmetic touch-ups. Still, we were satisfied and would stay again.
We were pleasantly surprised by a cute double-swan towel animal after I emailed to ask for one. The front desk was really helpful, and free towels and beach chairs for guests were a nice touch. Parking was quite reasonable per night. My husband, daughter, and I stayed in a second-floor king suite with a kitchen. It felt like a quaint little apartment, with a small balcony for fresh air, and the price was very reasonable. The place was clean, and we could walk straight to the beach or reach plenty of spots nearby within minutes. It exceeded what I expected so much that, even though I've never written a review before, I wanted to share this. We're definitely considering coming back for another vacation!
Aleksandra was so kind and helpful, a wonderful example of customer service. Great work, Aleksandra and HBBS team. This is a charming old-school hotel with some light renovations. Everything was clean and nice, and the shower was fantastic, with hot water and strong pressure for the whole shower. The beach, a few buildings away, is beautiful, and restaurants and bars are a short walk too. They provide beach chairs and towels for free.
The staff responded quickly to every issue, and the location was ideal, just a 2-3 minute walk from the beach while still in a quieter spot. A few room problems added up: the shower pressure was very low and took a long time to warm up, the TV didn't work until maintenance fixed it right away, and the AC only cooled the bedroom where it was installed. Even so, we had an amazing trip. I'd definitely recommend this place and would absolutely return.
The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. Ours had a fridge-freezer and microwave, though no cutlery or dishes, so I'm not sure what the microwave is meant for. There was no kettle or safe, but there was a hair dryer and iron. A water and ice machine is available by reception. Beach towels and chairs are provided, which is a nice touch. It's about a two-minute walk to the beach. Check-in was quick and straightforward, and the staff were very friendly. There is a pool, though it's small. For a three-star hotel with this location and a reasonable price, it offers good value. I'd recommend it and would definitely come back.
